Principle

In 2002 we heard a demo LP entitled “Fours and Threes”, we were taken by the production and arrangements of the songs. It had all the elements of hip hop; crusty beats, technical rhymes and cuts, but it also incorporated vocals. The creative minds behind that project were Principle, Martini Sable and the ever elusive T.J (now residing in N.Y).

Principle's credentials start in the summer of 1999 in which he featured on an EP called Concrete Street , which truly showed an amazing vocal display of wordplay. From this principle continued to write and started to advance his production skills. By 2001 Principle had already finished ‘fours and three's LP' which featured a collection of talent from Mandy (basement Jaxx), the Sun Dragon formerly Supa T, Sirplus, to Madkut, the list is endless. “The album was something I felt I needed to do, there was so much talent around me at the time it just had to be noted and the best way was to get in a recording studio. It was hard work and took a lot of time, traveling and money but it was worth it”. After shopping the demo to a few labels principle received much interest. With the hype of ‘Fours and threes' principle and Madkut rejoined to form a new crew B-BOP, which included MC/producer ‘Wayolife' and Vocal Mc ‘Martini Sable' who all featured in ‘Fours n Threes'. After long interest from Genuine (pias), B-Bop signed a one off deal and set out to work with Acclaimed Engineer No Sleep Nigel on there Critically acclaimed debut release “For starters EP”. After a select UK tour B-Bop are back in the studio to follow up their first EP with an Album, which is currently in process.
