WayOLife

Wayolife had been doing his thing for a while before bursting on the scene as one fourth of the group B-BOP in 2003. An avid record collector from a young age way's love for music grew into a way of life for him, hence the name.

He first dabbled with various musical instruments at a young age, such as the bass and drums, before moving on to the turntable. His first record player was a birthday gift from his mother and according to way it's been on ever since. He started out as a dj on the Bristol scene and soon after relocated to London where he met fellow group members' martini sable and fellow Bristol dwella principle.

Back in those days he spent his time beat juggling and cutting up breaks, it was also the time when he first got into making beats.

Way recalls he started rapping by accident, “back in Bristol as a young kid I was a crazy das efx fan and around the time dead serious (the duo's 1 st album) came out, I used to recite all crazy drazy's lyrics while one of my boys ak did scoobs. We just did it to pass time but people started to think the lyrics were mine and his, eventually I started writing my own lyrics while ak moved on to other things.

Around 95 way started making his own tapes and soon his place of rest became a favorite hangout spot for local mcs to practice their skills. It was in those formative days he developed his rapping skills, but it took him another few years to get serious about his craft.

wayolife is currently working on his debut Crutchporn release entitled “The worst days always falls on Thursdays”, a mixture of b-boyism and originality which he believes is lacking in today's music. Production duties will be handled mainly by way himself with a little help from Lounj-Alone, and sick dick creator Dah-eef .
